Part II: GIS Application Description Abstract: This document describes a GIS application developed to assist the Town of Nantucket with land parcel acquisition efforts. These efforts are being focused on land parcels adjacent to shoreline, with an underlying goal of protecting public access to beaches. Part III: Preliminary Waterways Access Action Plan Abstract: This document is a guide to the acquisition of shoreline parcels on Nantucket Island. Based on the Nantucket Shoreline Area Parcel Ranking Geographic Information System (GIS) application described in Part II, recommendations for shoreline area parcel acquisition are provided.
